Finally our prime Minister Rutte confirmed what we all were hoping for. A great relieve for dancing Netherlands. The past months were hectic. We had to instantly close our studio doors. Everything was shut down and we just had to deal with it. When it all happened back in March I still thought this will be temporary and we will be back dancing in the studio within two weeks. And we will still be able to hold our festive closing of the year that was scheduled for May where we would celebrate our 10 year anniversary with fellow dancers. But unfortunately it went differently.
When the basic protocol of Dance was presented in May by the Dansondernemers it was declined by the government. Many questions raised. How long will this go on, will my company survive, will my students stay with me? So I decided to shift my studio classes to Live Streaming. Fortunately some students kept following my classes via Live Streaming to support the dance school. Luckily the Dansondernemers could negotiate with the government and the dance sector is allowed to re-open her doors. We had 4 months of turnover loss but on 7 July Nargis Bellydance will open her studio doors under safe conditions if we adhere to the protocol. In the Basic Dance Protocol, all new government guidelines have been taken into account, so that dancing can be performed corona-proof. In general, everyone should keep a meter and a half distance, but dance should be able to remain dance in the studio itself. I have prepared well for that. I know that many of my students long to return to the studio where they can indulge in the dance. Normally we have a summer break in July and August, but I will continue in July especially for my students. All the information for the July subscription and registration can be find on Subsription page
